Never underestimate the power of custom millwork.

By replacing the rigid, boxy cased opening and square columns with a beautifully detailed custom archway, we created a softer, more elegant frame for the view beyond. Paired with a stunning new curved staircase banister and beautifully refinished hardwood floors, this transition now feels classic, intentional, and grand.

From underutilized space to summer destination.

The challenge with an outdoor extension is making sure the new additions feel cohesive with the original architecture. For this Chevy Chase project, we gave the classic backyard a massive upgrade with a custom covered patio, crisp new hardscaping, and a pristine pool setup. Functional luxury designed to be enjoyed all year round.
