Washmo Tiny Farm My husband and I are raising chickens and growing as much food as possible on our tiny homestead. This is our story. I’m here to tell you that you can do it!

We started slow and small in 2023. Our chicken run and garden has tripled since then.

Sadly, we lost 3 of the 7 quail overnight. Found them under the heat plate. They have heat, game bird starter, water with pebbles (so they don’t drown) and a thin layer of pine bedding. Is there something I’m doing wrong or are they just super fragile. Feeling discouraged 😢

Look at this beautiful flock of grow outs! These are Easter Eggers who are about 4-5 weeks old. They are in their awkward stage starting to get adult feathers. I love watching them grow and discovering the unique feather patterns on each chick. Some are still available. PM me if you need more beautiful blue & green eggs as they are very likely from this group.

These baby quail are so adorable! I put pebbles in their water so they don’t drown. I’ve never had such tiny birds. Send tips!
