Sometimes life gives you a reminder of just how much you have to be thankful for. 🙏
This morning at our breakfast, we took a moment to reflect on something that really hit home for all of us.
Recently, some of our team members were involved in a very serious vehicle accident. Looking at the photo, it’s hard to believe everyone made it out alive. We are beyond fortunate that our guys are still here with us today.
We shared a special moment talking about that day, and I truly believe there was someone bigger than all of us watching over them.
Trucks can be replaced. Equipment can be replaced. People can’t. 🙏
🏆 Golden Shovel Award
This month’s Golden Shovel goes to Samuel!
While working at one of our commercial properties, Samuel came across an older lady with a dead car battery who was trying to get to a doctor’s appointment. Without hesitation, he got the crew together and helped jump-start her car so she could make it.
Such a small gesture that probably meant the world to her. These are the things that make me proud of our team.

Today was a great morning. Nothing fancy, just coffee, doughnuts, good conversations, and some quality time together.
After 22 years of building this company, I think you start looking at things a little differently.
When I was younger, I got excited about the big jobs, new trucks, equipment, and watching the company grow. Don’t get me wrong, I still do. But somewhere along the way, you realize the things that make you proudest aren’t always things you can buy or build.
It’s mornings like today. Sharing laughs, hearing stories, recognizing good people, and being thankful everyone is here.
Our team is a little smaller this time of year, but looking around this morning, I couldn’t help but feel fortunate to have these people beside me.
Maybe after doing something for so many years, you lose a little of that excitement you once had. But mornings like today remind me it never really went away. The things that excite you just change.
the end of the day, success isn’t just about how big your company gets. It’s about the people you get to share the journey with.
