Accelerated Mitigation and Restoration Supports Hurricane Helene Disaster Relief Efforts

At Accelerated Mitigation and Restoration, we are deeply committed to serving the communities in and around Washington, NC. In light of the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in the western part of our state, we are stepping up to provide support in any way we can. While damaged roads have prevented us from physically reaching the Asheville area to lend our hands, we have made a $1,000 donation to aid the relief efforts.

This donation will be used for critical resources, including fuel for helicopters, essential supplies, and medicine, ensuring that relief reaches the people most affected by this disaster. We know the residents of Western North Carolina have lost so much, and while we can't be there in person, our contribution will help ensure they receive the assistance they need.

Getting in front of a large group of very successful entrepreneurs can be a scary thing to do for someone. I was able to give a speech about a company I founded (Accelerated Mitigation and Restoration) on Biblical principles and our core belief is “We work to give Gos the glory.” I am thankful Steven Wood allowed me to talk about my passion for restoring people’s home after a disaster happens. The nerves went away quickly when I was able to talk about something that is second nature to me, helping people.

Business isn’t easy and growing a company is challenging. It’s easy when you have a group of people that are for you, help you and pray for you. Keep your heads high and stay humble through the journey.

On a recent job, a pipe burst in the attic and damaged the Master Bedroom and Kitchen, Mitigation (removed the wet building materials, dried and treated) was done quickly and mold never stood a chance here in Eastern North Carolina. Our crew put this house back together and we can say our customers are happy. (You should see the google review they left!)
