Making some good progress on the garden expansion at Ciao Bella Farms. The now eight additional raised beds are almost finished, with just a little more stone to put down and some cleanup left to do. Originally planned to do 4. These are all 4x8 beds!

It's been quite a bit of work getting everything leveled, built, and filled, but we're happy with how it's turning out. These beds will give us a lot more room for growing peppers next year, including quite a few new varieties we're looking forward to trying.

Looking forward to seeing this whole area filled with plants next spring! 🌶️🌱

Big plans for the garden!

Even though the growing season is just about done the work never really stops!

We're in the process of expanding the garden with a brand-new area dedicated to growing peppers! 🌶️ The space in front of our existing raised beds is being prepped for new pepper beds, giving us even more room to grow next season.

Meanwhile, the beds on the left will be put to good use over the winter growing garlic! 🧄 Our homegrown garlic will be used for some our our signature hot sauces we are making!

There's still plenty of work ahead, but it's exciting to see the garden continue to take shape. A little hard work now means bigger harvests next year! 🌱🚜

11 bottles of Red Ghost, aka Ghost Town, all bottled up!

Things are slowing down outside at Ciao Bella Farms, but we're still keeping busy turning peppers into hot sauce!

These Red Ghost peppers came from The Wolfstead in Kentucky, and they definitely bring some serious heat! 🔥 We've still got plenty of peppers to work through and a bunch more sauces planned.

It's been fun seeing all these different sauces come together, even if the kitchen looks like a pepper factory most weekends! 😂

Putting the dehydrator back to work!

This batch is loaded with Chocolate Ghost Hybrid, Armageddon, Red Ghost, Peach Ghost Scorpion, Sugar Rush Peach, Scotch Bonnet, and Fresno peppers.

Some are headed for powders and hot sauces, while others will be making their way into hot honey made with locally produced honey!

Plenty more experimenting to do even with the growing season winding down!

The growing season is winding down, but we've still got plenty of work ahead of us!

Between the peppers we grew ourselves and some great varieties from The Wolfstead in Kentucky, we've got quite the collection to work with! We've already made several batches of hot sauce, and there's a lot more to come.

We've also got something new in the works with a local friend who raises bees and was nice enough to share some of her honey. You can probably guess what we're planning with that! 🍯🔥

We're curious, what kind of hot sauce do you prefer? Something with good flavor and a little kick, or as hot as you can get it? And what would you like to see more of on our page?

We've had a lot of fun with Ciao Bella Farms this year and appreciate everyone following along. Looking forward to sharing what's next!

Another busy Sunday making hot sauce here at Ciao Bella Farms! 🌶️🔥

We managed to get 51 bottles finished up today!

🌶️ 7 Chocolate Ghost Hybrid
🔥 13 Armageddon
🍊 8 Tangerine Tiger
🍑 13 Sugar Rush Peach
🧄 10 bottles of a new sauce my wife came up with that we still need to name!

Not a bad way to spend a Sunday! The fridge is filling up, and we're pretty happy with how everything turned out.

Now we just need to come up with a name for my wife's sauce! 🤘

Small test batch of Tangerine Tiger hot peppers along with some other stuff. It came out great and is a keeper. Not too hot as these peppers are only on the low side of the scoville from 2500 to 10,000.
