Today marked the first day of school for students across our area, and an especially meaningful first day right here in Washington.

For the first time, students walked through the doors of the new Washington Elementary School and began making this building their own.

Over the last 19 months, we’ve watched this school take shape right here in the community we call home. And for us, this one hits especially close to home. Some of our own WIMCO kids will learn and grow within these walls, while members of our extended WIMCO family come here each day to teach, support and care for them.

Countless hours, countless hands and an incredible amount of heart have gone into creating a place that will serve generations of students and families.

Welcome home, Little Pack. 🐾💙

Yesterday, we joined Perquimans County Schools to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new 158,044 SF Perquimans Intermediate School in Windfall, NC!

Built to serve up to 962 students, the new school features 50+ classrooms, a multipurpose space, gymnasium, state-of-the-art athletic fields and much more.

Designed by Hite Associates and built by WIMCO, it’s been a privilege to help bring this new learning environment to life.

Thank you to our project team, trade partners and everyone who played a role in making this project a reality.

Grand Opening #4, and that’s a wrap on a busy week!

Tractor Supply Co. is officially open in Lafayette, Louisiana!

We’re proud to see another WIMCO-built location open its doors and serve the Lafayette community. This grand opening caps off a week with four WIMCO projects opening across three states!

A big thank you to our development partner, Primax Properties, LLC and congratulations to the Tractor Supply team and everyone who played a part in bringing this project to completion.

Grand Opening #2 this week!

Publix #2105 located at The Marketplace at Mills River opened their doors this morning!

This project includes a new 52,000 SF Publix with a deli, bakery, pharmacy, and elevator, plus a separate 10,800 SF retail building with eight additional storefronts.

Our scope also included off-site roadway improvements and a retaining wall to help bring the full development together.

Congratulations to everyone who helped get this one across the finish line!
