❓What is your job title?
☘ Assistant Project Manager
❓How long have you worked for MacBracey?
☘ I’ve been with MacBracey since October 2025, so 8 months.
❓What made you interested in working for our Company?
☘ I was first drawn to MacBracey because it is a woman-owned company in an industry that is still largely male-dominated. It is inspiring to work alongside women in construction and be part of a team where that is supported and valued. I also connected with the company’s values right away. Its focus on building strong client relationships and maintaining a positive mindset aligned with what I was looking for.
Since joining the team, I have seen that those values are more than words on a website; they are reflected in the day-to-day culture. The team is supportive, the environment is genuinely positive, and everyone brings a servant-leader mindset, stepping in to help wherever needed.
❓What’s your favorite part of being an Assistant Project Manager?
☘ One of my favorite parts of the role is that every day looks different. I support project managers on active projects while also helping the estimating team gather pricing, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and improve our estimating workflow. I enjoy being able to step in wherever support is needed throughout our team. On any given day, I may help a project manager, track down a quote, send out a PO, track subcontracts, create a close out documentation matrix, assist with permitting, or support the accounting and administrative teams with potential project leads and pay apps. I like learning different sides of the business and seeing how all the pieces come together. Projects do not always go as planned, but I enjoy problem-solving, working through challenges, and helping keep things moving forward
❓What do you hope for the future of the company?
☘ I hope to see MacBracey continue growing its design-build presence and become the first call people make when they have an idea for a project but aren't quite sure where to start. One of the things I appreciate most about our team is the knowledge and experience we have in-house. Whether a client has a full set of plans or just an idea on a napkin, we can help walk them through the process, explore their options, and turn that idea into something realistic and achievable. I'd love to see the company continue building long-term relationships, expanding into new markets, and helping more clients bring their ideas to life.
❓What advice would you give anyone looking to get into the construction field?
☘ Don’t be afraid to start in the field, there’s so much you can learn just by being in it. That hands-on experience is priceless and gives you a much better understanding of how projects actually come together. It really sets you up for growth no matter where you want to go in the industry.
Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions, even if you think it’s something you should already know. No one knows everything, and the best way to grow is to stay curious.
❓Tell us a little about your personal self.
☘ I was born and raised in Arizona and am the youngest of five siblings. With most of my family working in the oil and gas industry, I grew up around construction and job sites. I attended Mesa Community College on a track scholarship and earned my associate’s degree before moving to Pennsylvania, which has always felt like a second home since my stepdad worked in this area for years.
I got my start in construction in 2018 as an inspector on the ME2 Pipeline near Altoona, which gave me a great foundation in the field. From there, I transitioned into project management and have enjoyed learning different sides of the construction industry ever since. I’m someone who likes to stay busy, take on new challenges, and continuously learn.
❓What are your interests/hobbies outside of MacBracey Corporation?
☘ I enjoy staying active- HIIT workouts are definitely my go-to. I also love trying new food (I like to call myself a bit of a “flavor chaser,” which has gotten a few laughs around the office). Outside of that, I’m into sports, traveling, golfing, and spending time with friends and family. I like to stay busy- but I also appreciate a good reset day every now and then, usually with a nice glass of wine in hand.
