452 panels. One roof. 74% of a resort’s electricity. ☀️
Black Prong () sits inside 75,000 acres of Florida’s Goethe State Forest — horses, trails, cottages, and a lot of quiet. The brief for their new solar system was simple: make it powerful, make it seamless.
So we put 203 kW on the event pavilion roof, used all-black modules, and gave every panel its own optimizer so a roof that faces four directions still performs like it faces one.
⚡ 265,000+ kWh a year
📉 74% of the resort’s power
💰 Pays for itself in under 5 years
🌲 118 tons of CO₂ avoided annually
And this wasn’t their first green move — solar-heated pools, solar trail lights, electric carts and e-bikes were already there. Solar was just the biggest chapter yet.
