First kitchen of 2026!

We started by closing in a wall to provide more cabinets and counter space. It was finished in warm, bright tones and features white shaker cabinets with a variety of inserts, Taj Mahal quartzite countertops, champagne bronze fixtures and hardware, a unique handmade-look Spanish tile backsplash with a marble mural accent behind the stove, crown molding, and updated lighting.

Considering a new kitchen in 2026 and looking for inspiration?

In this one, we removed a load-bearing wall and put in a beam to open the kitchen to the dining room, created an archway to tie the rooms together, and updated electrical and plumbing. This all set us up to install a beautiful quartzite countertop, a brick backsplash to keep in character with the house (which was built in the 1920s), warm-tone cabinets with an on-trend accent color on the island, and brushed gold hardware. The end result is stunning!

This homeowner wanted a spacious room to host family gatherings and this addition checked all the boxes! Radiant heated hardwood floors that blend seamlessly with the flooring in the rest of the house, windows to let in plenty of sunlight, and a gas fireplace make this a welcoming and beautiful space.
