As a metal building contractor we get called to look at many types of repairs to existing steel buildings. Today was probably our strangest. Our customer had raccoons breaking into the roof top units and creating beds out of the filters. We were called because they were also trying and partially succeeding in pulling up the ridge cap. Hard to believe since these metal caps are screwed down and sealed with butyl tape. Well they are persistent, the cap was pulled up to varying degrees. The red in the pictures is blood where they wouldn't give up. As I said a definite first.

We have been renovating the interior and exterior of the Peoria Girl Scout Service Center since late summer. They are in the process of moving back in over the next couple of weeks. It was a fun project with a great customer.
