We apologize for the inconvenience caused by temporarily blocking the city streets today. Apparently, Big Black Betty woke up on the wrong side of the bed—or maybe she’s simply had enough of this Iowa heat. Either way, she decided Tommy was due for quite the adventure.

Unfortunately, that adventure took a serious turn when Tommy experienced a front steer tire blowout, sending him into oncoming traffic. Thankfully, Tommy was able to maneuver back into his lane and, most importantly, no one was injured.
There was some collateral damage as a result of the incident, and we sincerely apologize to anyone who was affected by the accident or delayed by the road closure. While we can laugh a little at Big Black Betty’s apparent attitude, we certainly don't take what happened lightly.

We are incredibly grateful that Tommy—and everyone else involved—walked away safely. At the end of the day, equipment can be repaired and roads can be cleared, but people are irreplaceable.

⚡️ Talk about a challenging one! ⚡️

Just look at those power lines we had to work around today… PHEW! 😅

After wrapping up this job, we all agreed it easily earned a spot in our top three most challenging jobs yet! This one definitely required some extra planning, patience, and teamwork.

When we quote a tree job, there’s a lot more that goes into it than simply looking at the size of the tree. We have to consider:
🌳 The location of the trees
⚡️ Nearby power lines and obstacles
🪵 The condition and stability of the trees
🚛 Accessibility for our large trucks and equipment

This property seemed to have every challenge working against us—but our crew put their heads together, came up with a plan, and made it happen safely and successfully!

At the end of the day, the trees were taken care of and, most importantly, we left with another happy customer. 🙌

Challenging jobs like this are exactly why experience, the right equipment, and careful planning matter.
