Many property owners plant willow trees as a fast-growing windbreak, often with spruce trees or other conifers planted in front of them for long-term protection. Because willows have a relatively short lifespan, they eventually begin to decline and can create issues for the surrounding trees.

Today, we removed a row of willow trees that were nearing the end of their life cycle and had begun encroaching on the spruce trees. This removal will help improve the health, growth, and longevity of the remaining windbreak while reducing the risk of future tree failures. 🌲🌳

Sorry we have been a little MIA on our page lately! As many of you know, we had a little breakdown with one of our trucks a few weeks ago. After spending some time figuring things out behind the scenes, we finally made the trip to Wisconsin today — a good old 6-hour drive one way — to bring home our newest addition!

We are excited to officially introduce the new beauty to the fleet!

Now give us a little time to get the new decals by the best around, Steff Duncan Bell with Just B’s Around, and she’ll really be looking sharp!

Large cottonwood removal in a very tight area completed in Mount Pleasant, Iowa!

This job definitely tested us — and unfortunately, it was the same job where our boom broke down. Even through the unexpected setback, this customer was incredibly patient, understanding, and supportive throughout the process.

We are truly blessed with the clientele we have and are beyond grateful for customers who stand by small local businesses during the tough moments as well as the good ones.
