It’s been 24 years since the world shook. It still remains heavy on our hearts. During 9/11, thousands of lives were taken, and our country was left mourning. Today, we honor the heroic men and women for their bravery and the families who grieve their loss every day. May we never forget the strength, resilience, courage, and sacrifice of every soul taken from us on September 11, 2001.

Devastated, heartbroken, disgusted, and angry do not even begin to describe the tragedy of yesterday’s events. Charlie Kirk was many things—he was a man of God, a son, a devoted husband, a proud father of two beautiful young children, a leader, and a friend to many. He spoke truth and galvanized the youth of America to seek the restoration of greatness in our country. He was a proud servant of God who used every opportunity he had to spread the gospel. Charlie was an inspiration, showing what it meant to engage in civil discourse—that speech, not violence, was the way to resolve our nation’s deepest divisions. His loss is devastating. Our hearts and prayers are with his wife Erika, and their children. The world is a much darker place without him in it. He did not deserve this and he will forever be missed.
