A Viking Long Table that I built for a Family friend. 10 ft long by 40” wide built out of cedar. Don’t get a chance to build many tables so it’s always fun to build a different type of table. This will be a center piece for an upcoming wedding where the family will be sitting.

Some houses are just different… and this is definitely one of them.

This project challenged us from start to finish, but that’s exactly what made it so rewarding. From installing the tongue-and-groove ceiling over 20 feet in the air while working around floating trusses, to trimming out the massive window wall in cherry, every day brought something new.

The details are what make this home stand out:
• Cherry Craftsman doors and trim throughout
• Custom cherry cabinets throughout the home
• Built-in cherry cabinetry surrounding the fireplace with a solid cherry cap
• A continuous hemlock railing wrapping the loft and staircase, finished with black cable railing and crimped hardware

Every piece came together to create a truly one-of-a-kind home.

Projects like this remind me why I love what I do. Seeing a vision come to life through craftsmanship never gets old. It doesn’t feel like work when you’re building something this special.

Fun wainscoting project for an upcoming house about to hit the market
