Back from our trip to MANTS 2022! We learned of some interesting new plant varieties that we cannot wait to use in our designs! No road trip would be complete without some adventure and great local food! We loved the Inner Harbor, the National Aquarium and this hidden foodie gem and their scrumptious ‘neighborhood chicken bowl’…. Yum! 😋

Wishing Everyone a wonderful holiday season! Please enjoy this photo we took of a native plant ‘ilex verticillata’ commonly called Winterberry holly, which was taken while scouting a local nursery in east hampton in the month of December. Great winter interest provides a valuable food source for over wintering birds, and of course wreath making! It’s a deciduous holly meaning it’s not evergreen like most hollies. Very special plant that’s under utilized.
