We were surprised to see the basement slab in this Whitefish Bay home was not only failing but only 1-2” thick! Time for it to come out - back breaking work by our masons - and pour a new one before they invest in their new finished basement space.

This Whitefish Bay home had a failing basement slab with a thickness between 1-2” thick. Topcoating or adding thickness is not an option with a low ceiling height and that top coat of portland cement could crack. So, it’s coming out - in very small pieces! It definitely needs a nice new fresh concrete slab, to be polished, to match the new industrial look finished space.
