The flowers are growing, the rows are filling in, and subscription season is almost here 🤍

In less than a month, the first Burke Fields bouquets of the season will be heading home with our subscribers. There’s just something so special about fresh flowers waiting for you each week… gathered straight from the field and wrapped with the best blooms of the moment.

From soft summer colors to those big statement stems we wait all winter for, every bouquet will be a little different and designed around what’s blooming right here on the farm 🌸

We’ve had a lot of inquiries about peonies for the holiday weekend, and we couldn’t agree more, they make the prettiest statement piece 🌸✨

We’ll be hosting another u-pick tomorrow, Saturday, May 23rd from 9 AM–11 AM at the farm. Come wander the rows and pick whatever is blooming beautifully. We’ll provide the snips ✂️🌿

A little reminder that flower farming is never quite as easy as the photos make it seem 🌿✨

This spring brought the thrips in full force and we sadly lost so many blooms along the way, but after lots of tending, late nights, early mornings, and loving on the field a little extra, we were able to save the final varieties of the season 🤍

And honestly the imperfect seasons always make the flowers feel a little more meaningful 🌸

I have a handful of pre-cut, wrapped bouquets ready for porch pickup 💐✨

Also If you’d like to come spend an evening at the farm, U-pick will be open Thursday from 430-630 PM, and possibly Friday too if there’s enough interest ✂️

The peonies are stretching and the seedlings are finally tucked into the ground, settling in and starting to take off. Every morning feels like a little more color is on the way.
