We were overdue for a new flagpole and worked with Chris from Miller Fence to get this beauty in place. Typically, poles are furnished with a gold ball at the top. Wayne had a solid brass Eagle, most likely 100 years old, that he found at an auction 50 or so years ago. After removing multiple layers of paint, the brass's beauty was revealed! The Eagle now rests at the top of our new flagpole. It is perched on top of a piece of polished stainless steel, and the Eagle is looking to its right. When an Eagle, such as this one, is looking to its right, it is a peace Eagle. If looking to the left, it is a war Eagle.
