TO ALL OF OUR LOYAL CLIENTS, RCHS would like to say thank you for a great 2025! Your continued patronage and support are appreciated more than you could imagine. Moving forward to this year, we will be pausing all operations; I am being activated with my Marine reserve unit and will be heading overseas. I thank you all again for your support of my small veteran owned business and hope to get right back to work with all of you when I return. See everyone around the holidays 2026!

Whelp, I’d be lying if I said this was our busiest year thus far (quite the opposite in fact). Missed out on approx. 6 months of this year due to other obligations (fire academy, injury, military) and the world being as uncertain as it is right now I think may have also been a factor. That being said, very happy with how this tile backsplash came out! Glass 3.5inx11in tile that almost had a sea glass feel to it. Simple brick set pattern with a 1/16in grout line. How’d we do?

Well it took longer than anticipated because of all the rain we’ve had this spring but it’s finally all done. Completed this beautiful fully enclosed, raised vegetable garden for my mother-in-law. This is an 11’x11’ completely custom built garden with some design help/inspiration coming from . All cedar construction (minus some parts of the roof which are PT) and enough lag bolts to make this piece as solid as a rock. Had so much fun building this and would love to do more projects like this in the future! Let us know what you think!

NEW PROJECT ALERT 🚨: Completed this new side porch for a client after they approached us concerned about the structural integrity of their existing porch (and not a season too soon). Completely tore down the existing porch (which didn’t take much effort), poured all new footings, brand new frame, new support posts, and Trex composite decking. The client loves it and so de we!

Out with the old, in with the new. Before and after of a shed re-do we just completed for a client. Tore down the old and falling apart shed and built a brand new 10’x12’ beauty from the ground up. All wall panels are primed and ready to be painted at the client’s discretion. What do we think?

Before, during, and after of a butcher block counter refinish we just completed. Client had a bit of a mishap trying to refinish the counters on their own which led to a sticky situation (never use a water based finisher on wood that’s already been oiled). We sanded off all of the existing finish down to the bare wood, re-stained to bring out the natural tones of the Walnut, and re-sealed with 3 coats of oil based polyurethane. The results speak for themselves: good as new!

To all of our loyal clients, I have the pleasure of informing you that I officially started my career with the Watertown Fire Department today. For the next 2 weeks I will be working full time days going thru orientation and then I will be moving to shift work. Once I have a sense of my schedule moving forward I will begin reaching out to a number of you to schedule future work. RCHS will continue with as minimum of a disruption as possible and we thank everyone for their continued support of our enterprise. Thank you!

Check out this exterior door we replaced today! Took out the old and rusting steel door and replaced it with a brand new full view glass door with a WiFi capable automatic deadbolt. As you can see we installed new trim inside and out as well (to be painted later) and a new oak threshold.

Ran into a little issue when removing the old door threshold: it took all the drywall below with it. We had to get creative to repair all the damaged drywall underneath and on the sides but by the time it’s all painted, you won’t even notice that we added 1/8in MDF board.
