⚡ Ask one question before anyone touches the wiring in your home or business: “Are you licensed?”

If the answer is anything other than a straight yes, hang up.

Electrical work isn’t drywall. You can’t sand it down, paint over it, and forget about it. A bad splice behind a wall, a shortcut at the panel, an undersized conductor on a new circuit, those mistakes don’t show up the day the work is done. They show up at 2 a.m. six months later, when something starts to smell, or when your insurance adjuster is standing in your driveway asking who pulled the permit.

At CMEC dba Markarian Electric, every job, every service call, every panel swap, every can light, every outlet, is run by a licensed Massachusetts electrician. Not “supervised by” from a truck across town. Not “trained under” someone with a license. An actual licensed, fully insured electrician on your job, every single time. That’s the guarantee.

Markarian has been wiring homes and businesses across Greater Boston since 1998 and Brandon Hill has been wiring electrical work since around the same time as well. We carry the license, we carry the insurance, we pull the permits, and we put our name on the work.

So the next time someone offers you a “deal” on electrical work out of the back of a van, ask the question. Then call us.

Take Notice

Love this guy! Had the privilege to speak with Tanner The Electrician on the phone a couple of times. Ohio’s Best!

Pretty much sums it up when it comes to neutrals. There’s this misconception in regards to neutrals and whether we need them at all box locations or not and this video proves that it’s not required at all locations.

Well it certainly was a first for me. Not because it’s the type of electrical work that was needed but it was the first time working on a clock bell this original.

I received a call from the First Congressional Church of Auburn after being recommended by one of our residents here in town to attend and asked me if I could get their church bill operational again.

I took a look at it and I was blown away to see how original this church Bell was because before they introduce the electronic clock and integrated it into it, this bell would work as a spring loaded timer precisely made and engineered to go off at each hour every day.

I’ll tell you they don’t make them like they used to but I was able to diagnose this to see what the issue is and right now it’s currently a process of elimination. I was able to get it to strike once at 1 o’clock so we’ll see what happens stay tuned! …..

Giving Back to Auburn Again ❤️

This week, we had the privilege of gifting another free electrical service upgrade, valued at over $6,000 to an Auburn family whose system was in dire need of replacement.

This is the part of our work that means the most to
us. Helping families in our community who are struggling with unsafe or outdated electrical systems isn’t just something we do occasionally, it’s who we are. And we’re not stopping anytime soon.

Do you know someone who needs help?
If your home has an undersized or failing electrical service and you simply can’t afford the repair, we want to hear from you. We’re giving away another free 200-amp service upgrade to an Auburn family in need. We’ve done it before, and we’ll keep doing it, because no one should have to live with unsafe wiring.

And on top of that, 🔌 30% OFF all new electrical work, for new and existing Auburn customers. Now extended through the end of May!

A little about us:

As a Master Electrician, I’ve worked hard to bring the highest level of training to every job we do. Beyond earning my Master’s license, I became a licensed instructor because I believe in preparing the next generation of electricians the right way. Education and craftsmanship are everything in this trade.

Since opening our doors, we’ve built real relationships with customers who’ve become friends. Auburn took us in, and we’ll never stop showing up for this community.

Middle-of-the-night emergency? We’re there. Our electricians are on call whenever you need us.
We hire only the most experienced, respectful professionals, the kind who treat your home like their own and leave it spotless. When we’re done, you’d never know we were there.

✅ 30+ licensed electricians on our team

✅ Quality service, guaranteed, if there’s ever an issue, we make it right

✅ Open 24/7, 365 days a year

To everyone who has trusted us with their home, thank you. Your loyalty is what makes it possible for us to give back like this.
Auburn, we love you. 💙

It’s Business Monday—and here in Auburn, we take pride in what we do and as our appreciation for your continued trust and support, every Auburn resident, past present and future customers will receive 30% off of all electrical work until the end of April! If you have and pending estimate from us, take 30% off, if you’re contemplating having some future electrical work done and just looking for an estimate, we guarantee you that we will take 30% off your next quote and offer a three-year warranty on all work because, you helped build us and for that we wanted to give back as a sign of appreciation in gratitude!

At the end of the day, electrical work isn’t just wires and panels. It’s your home. Your business. Your safety. Your peace of mind.

Every job we take on, we treat like it’s our own. No shortcuts. No guesswork. Just clean, code-compliant work done the right way the first time.

We’ve seen what happens when it’s not—overloaded panels, unsafe wiring, systems that were never installed properly. That’s not just an inconvenience… that’s a risk.

That’s why we show up different.

Whether it’s a service upgrade, troubleshooting a problem, or wiring a brand new project—we bring experience, attention to detail, and pride in our craft to every single job.

Because in this trade, your reputation is everything—and ours is built on doing things right.

If you need electrical work done and want it handled professionally, safely, and without the runaround… we’re here.

Thank you again and please call anytime day or night 365 days a year, we will be there!

You know, becoming an electrician was never part of the original plan. I wanted to be in a metal band, touring the world, making millions, doing ridiculous things, and maybe one day ending up on one of those VH1 “Where are they now?” shows.

But like a lot of us, I was told to have a backup plan… and that plan was electrical work.

Along the way, I even got the opportunity to serve as a firefighter, something I’ll always be proud of, but nothing has shaped my life and success quite like this trade.

Last night, I attended a trade show and had the chance to connect with some incredible people, representing some of the best manufacturers and distributors in the electrical industry. It’s one thing to do the work, but it’s another level entirely to understand the products, how they function, and to build relationships with the people behind them.

What really stands out is the network. The conversations. The ability to spend time with some of the sharpest minds we have here in Massachusetts.

In the photos below are members of the MECA organization, an association I’m proud to be part of as Vice President of the Boston Chapter, and soon to be involved with the Worcester Chapter as well. One of the individuals pictured also serves on the Board of Electrical Examiners, helping oversee and regulate our trade across the state.

To be surrounded by people like this, alongside my partner, Eric Markarian, and many close friends in the industry, is something I don’t take for granted.

This isn’t just a job. It’s a brotherhood, a craft, and a career that’s given me more than I ever expected.

Truly an honor to be where I am today and you can rest knowing that you’re getting the safest and most professional installation of electrical work there is!

Public service announcement…..

We kindly and humbly ask you that you don’t get us mixed up with another company and owner.

There are 2 brandon’s in town, I’m Brandon Hill and there’s another Brandon who’s an electrician.

We are not affiliated with Mr. Haskins nor does he have anything to do with our company and vice versa.

As always we respect all electrical contractors but just wanted to set the record straight due to the confusing phone calls we received.

Coincidentally, there were two similar posts yesterday and were very similar in detail about the same thing. His was after ours.

Thank you
Brandon M. Hill

Today, I was invited to Auburn Middle School to give a presentation for their STEM program, and I have to say it was truly an honor to be back again. I’m grateful for the opportunity, and I’ll continue to support programs like this anytime I can. The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow, and being able to share what I’ve learned over the years means more to me than I can even put into words.

Thank you to the Auburn Public School District and Ms. Palumbo for allowing me to be part of your curriculum. As long as I live in Auburn, regardless, I will always support the Auburn school district. With that being said, I hope I was able to inspire a few students to consider the electrical trade or at least see what’s possible when you work hard and stay curious.
