There's nothing like seeing a project go from drawings to a finished space.

We recently wrapped up a beautiful senior living project for 2Life Communities in Newton, MA, working alongside Perkins Eastman and J. Calnan & Associates. Our team installed Modernfold Acousti-Clear operable glass walls with double glazed panels, a 45 STC rating, and a black powder coated finish.

What we love most about this one is how naturally the walls blend into the architecture. The black framing ties right into the millwork and surrounding finishes, so the system feels built in. But when the space needs to open up, it transforms completely.

Sound separation, natural light, and total flexibility, all in one system. Proud of this one.

Some walls divide a room. This one belongs to it.

We just wrapped up a project at New Seabury, one of Cape Cod's most beautiful golf communities. The team installed a Modernfold Legacy operable partition with custom mirrored panels in their fitness and amenity space.

Here's what makes it special: when the wall is closed, the mirrors make it feel like part of the gym, not a barrier running through it. When it's open, the whole space flows together again. The club gets two rooms or one, whenever they need it, without ever sacrificing the look.

Projects like this are why we love what we do. Great spaces deserve solutions that work as good as they look.

A flexible workplace starts with spaces that can change with the people using them.

This Modernfold Acousti-Clear operable glass wall system, installed by The Pappas Company in a Boston office building, allows this large meeting area to transition between an open collaborative environment and a more enclosed conference space in just moments.

The glass panels keep the space bright and visually connected while giving the office the flexibility to adapt throughout the day.

Take a look at the Skyfold Zenith operable wall system in action at a downtown Boston office building!

Installed by The Pappas Company, this system lowers smoothly from the ceiling to divide the room when needed, then retracts completely overhead to keep the floor open and unobstructed.

Another great Boston office project completed by The Pappas Company!

This space features a combination of Modernfold PureView glass walls and a Modernfold Legacy operable wall, giving the office a bright, modern look with the flexibility to divide the space whenever needed.

The PureView glass wall keeps natural light flowing through the office, while the Legacy wall provides privacy and acoustic separation for meetings, presentations, and everyday collaboration.

Safety in action. 👏

This video shows the obstruction sensor operating on a Renlita S2000 door installed by The Pappas Company for a project in Downtown Boston.

When the sensor detects an obstruction, the door immediately responds to help protect people, equipment, and the system itself.

It’s a great example of smart engineering paired with a precise, professional installation.
