A quick video of the inside of the barn. Most of the metal has been put on the ceiling. Insulation is sitting there to be blown into the ceiling and then the carpenters can finish closing in the trusses. On the north end of the barn Delaval employees are installing our fans for ventilation. In the next week or two there will be concrete starting to get poured inside the barn.

Drone video taken just before the second pour began on the pit floor. In total the floor consisted of 146 loads of concrete. Carpenters have been working on putting more steel on the ceiling. They also set the trusses for the office and milk house area.

Video of the first pour of the manure pit floor. 77 loads of concrete in one day did about half the floor. The progress on the robot barn itself has now moved inside where the carpenters have started putting steel on the ceiling.

A quick look inside the robot barn still in construction. Both sides of the barn have a low flat ceiling. The center is elevated and will soon also be covered with steel.

Manure pit is being prepared for concrete. Robot barn roof is complete aside from tin on the office area. The first concrete has been poured inside the new prefresh barn. You can also see we are in the process of chopping third crop.

Finishing touches on manure pit dirt work. More posts set for building. Concrete has been poured for the office on robot barn and for the generator pad. Finishing up dirt pad for a future calf building. Manure pit for prefresh building is complete. Walls for our silage bunker additions have been set. Step by step we are getting there!

More action. Setting trusses. Digging and hauling dirt off back slope of manure pit. Concrete walls being poured for prefresh barn manure pit. Finishing pad for an addition to the silage bunkers. And still day-to-day farm work for us.

A lot of progress being made in many places. More posts being set on robot barn. Dirt being moved to make a pad for potential calf building addition. Dirt being moved to prepare for new prefresh barn addition. Also in process of cutting second crop hay. Busy day!
