This cute house is about to get a major overhaul with a new exterior! Thankfully the homeowner knew that the wavy siding might be asbestos and would need professionals to remove and dispose of it according to EPA/EPD guidelines. Oh, the weather outside might be getting frightful…
Here are some tips to stay delightful with the cold weather coming our way:
❄️ Cover your outdoor spigots with insulated covers
❄️ Leave a slow drip of cold water out of your faucet
❄️ If you are going out of town, leave your heat on
❄️ Leave your cabinet doors open in your kitchen and bathrooms to help prevent pipes from freezing, by allowing the pipes to remain at room temperature.

Unfortunately this family experienced a flood right before the holidays! .servicemaster came to mitigate, and noted that the home was built in the 70s, a prime time period of asbestos use! We worked alongside ServiceMaster Lovejoy to test and abate the asbestos to keep their workers, the homeowners, and the environment safe by removing and disposing of the asbestos within EPA regulations.
If you suspect asbestos, give our office a call to test and remove!
