View through the roof of the 1916 Johnson Round Barn in Bremer County as the roof is being replaced....sunlight finding its way in for the first time in over 100 years.

The barn was a recipient of a 2023 Iowa Barn Foundation Restoration Grant to replace the roof. The first step was to remove two layers of asphalt shingles and one layer of cedar shingles, which provided this unique view.
