⚡ Friendly Electrical Safety Reminder! ⚡

Touching two wires together may create a spark—but it definitely doesn’t mean they’re “getting along.” 😬

That little light show can cause:

🔥 Electrical fires
⚡ Serious shocks or burns
💥 Damaged wiring and equipment
🏃 A very quick trip to the breaker panel

Never touch exposed wires together or assume a wire is safe because “the power should be off.” Leave the sparks to the professionals!

⚡ Before You Call an Electrician... Check Your Breaker! ⚡

Some of our service calls end up being something simple—a breaker that just needs to be fully reset.

Many people don't realize that a tripped breaker won't reset by simply flipping it back ON. It must first be pushed completely to the OFF position, then turned back ON until it clicks into place.

✅ Find the tripped breaker (usually sitting between ON and OFF)
✅ Push it firmly all the way to OFF
✅ Wait about 30 seconds
✅ Turn it back ON until it clicks
✅ Test your power

If the breaker trips again immediately or won't stay on, don't keep resetting it. That's often a sign of an overloaded circuit or an electrical issue that should be inspected by a licensed electrician.

Replacing a light bulb may seem simple, but safety should always come first:

✅ Turn the light switch off
✅ Allow the old bulb to cool completely
✅ Use a sturdy stepladder—never stand on furniture
✅ Keep both feet firmly planted and avoid overreaching
✅ Choose the correct bulb type and wattage for the fixture
✅ Never install a bulb with wet hands

⚡ Project Spotlight – Mukwonago Red Brick Museum - The Trading Post⚡

We were honored to complete the electrical work for the beautiful Trading Post!

Our work included:
✔️ Installing new track lighting
✔️ Installing switches
✔️ Adding exterior receptacles
✔️ Installing conduit for new outlets
✔️ Completing additional electrical improvements throughout the building

Projects like this require balancing modern electrical functionality while preserving the character of a historic structure. We are proud to have been a piece of the puzzle to bring this building to life for the community.
