⚠️ PLEASE USE CAUTION ON W WOODLAND DR. SIDEWALK ⚠️
Our drivers do stop and look before the sidewalk before exiting onto Woodland Drive but we want to be extra cautious!! Please make sure children are aware and looking for vehicles when coming up to driveways🚸

We recently had a close call with a kid on an electric scooter that flew by the front of the stopped truck. The kid had to be going around 20 mph and was within inches of the bumper.

There is one partial blind spot by one of driveways that can make it difficult to see, so we ask you to please please slow down.

Little road closure update.

Happy Friday!!!!

The DOT has alerted the Village that the newly-constructed bridge over Six Mile Creek will again be COMPLETELY CLOSED to ALL TRAFFIC due to the concrete aprons being poured. The bridge will be hard closed from 7 a.m. tomorrow, September 20th through September 27th when the concrete is fully cured. Although the entire project limits are still closed, other intersections on the job will be open to local traffic, as they have been most of the summer. Kopp Rd. will have an increase of construction activity during this time frame as well, so please expect longer delays. Those traveling on the 113 will get turned around if they are not true local traffic.

For those accessing The Meadows of Sixmile Creek Golf Course, please use Verleen until the project is fully completed.

A friendly reminder as we are in full swing of construction season. 'Thru Traffic' does not mean you can go through. This is stating there is limited access to homes and businesses that only have access in the construction zone.

REMINDER: Barricades are installed in work zones for the safety of construction crews and the traveling public. These "Road Closed to Thru Traffic" signs imply that drivers cannot get from one end to the other end of the project without encountering construction activities and potentially impassable operations.

For vehicles that do not have an origin or destination inside the work zone, follow the detour route. If you live within the project boundaries or are trying to reach a local business, please use the shortest access point available. Please pay attention to road closure signs and barricades and do not attempt to drive around them.
