You wouldn’t know it but 17 quad loads of fill brought in to get this garage slab to grade. Slab was built for garage and workspace for homeowner. Concrete is frost protected and ready to be built on as soon as the builder is done. A 12” culvert was added to keep water flowing as it used to before the driveway was installed.

Seems small but was quite the challenge. From the hill steepness to marking sure the railing fit. We had to copy step sizes as the railing was made to fit the old walkway and he wanted to reuse it. To say it was stressful is an understatement as if it was wrong, we would most likely be ripping it back out. Roughly 2 weeks after we got a text from the owner saying it fit like a glove!!!

Another big project in the books. Just over 4000 sqft. Driveway was poured in one shot being over half of the total project at 2253 sqft. The whole project was poured on 25 psi foam insolation, with thickened edges and rebar at 16” on center and driveway was 12” on center both directions. As always we do as the customer wants.

Worked a Saturday as forecast is not looking good for following week. Slab is 40’x40’ with grade beam. Trench drain is center in slab and catches all 3 door runoff.
