Prep is what makes the finish last. 🎨💪

Starting these garage doors with a TSP cleaning a full 18 hours before coating so the surface is clean and completely dry. From there:

• 120-grit scuff BEFORE primer to give the slick surface some bite
• Bonding primer for proper adhesion
• 220-grit scuff AFTER primer to smooth the surface and knock down imperfections
• Finished with Sherwin-Williams Duration for a durable, clean exterior finish

Anybody can put paint on a door. The difference is what happens before the paint ever comes out of the can.

The difference is in the details. 🎨

Damaris putting in the precision work on this lead-paint restoration—scraping every loose edge by hand and working section by section instead of rushing through it.

With the blue containment tarp extended 10 ft from the house, we’re focused on keeping debris controlled while giving the surface the prep it actually needs before primer and paint.

Anybody can cover a wall. Restoration starts with the prep nobody sees.
