Basement renovation update!

Last week was spent continuing work on the basement reno mudding/texturing/painting while working in smaller jobs. We had a couple homes with odd jobs needing to get done before they could close the sale. We installed a linoleum floor, repaired sheetrock, installed extension jams and paint.

In another home getting ready to sell we fixed a toilet, installed a garbage disposal, repaired and handrail, cleaned out a fireplace, fixed water damaged sheetrock and more!

This week we plan to finish the basement project! (John also reinforced the stairs leading to the basement as there was a gap between the stairs and the wall) More pics to come!

Outdoor work trimming shrubs, overgrown lilac “bushes”😅 and cutting down a huge, dead trunk. Lots of trips to the yard waste facility!! 🌳

Another one of our rentals that John transformed! (I helped at the end cleaning up😊) Lighting, plumbing, flooring, paint, reconfiguring the bathroom to put in a tub/shower were huge improvements to this Waterloo home 🏡. Stay tuned for a walk through video!!

Who doesn’t love seeing before/during and after photos?! 😮 We’ve had a lot of fun making huge improvements to this Waterloo home we now rent. This house had hardwood floor under the laminate flooring. John decided to refinish the original hardwood. Adding wafer lights is always a huge update and makes the rooms more functional. More to come!
