"I just had mulch or rock installed. Why am I still getting w**ds?"
It's one of the most common questions we hear this time of year.
The truth is, many w**ds don't grow from underneath your landscape beds. W**d seeds can blow in from nearby areas and settle on top of mulch or rock. Once they get sunlight and moisture, they can start growing.
A few things to remember:
✔️ Mulch helps suppress w**ds, but isn't w**d-proof.
✔️ W**d mat under river rock helps reduce growth from below, but won't stop airborne seeds.
✔️ Regular maintenance is still the best way to keep beds looking their best.
The sooner w**ds are removed, the easier they are to control. 🌱
