As we head into winter, we will start seeing our little enemy, Chickw**d!

Chickw**d makes its appearance in the winter and into the early spring on Texas lawns, often preferring to grow right up against the base of a house.

While we don't recommend these w**ds on your lawn, we have heard that their small amount of saponins helps give dishes a creamy texture, especially when diced finely and simmered in pasta sauces.
