I don’t know who needs to hear this… but PLEASE stop painting your drywall with glossy paint. 😂

Your walls are not a kitchen cabinet. They do not need to shine like they just got back from the car wash. 😂

For drywall: Flat, matte, or eggshell. That’s it. Those are the options.

It’s been a busy week here at Heritage Pro Coatings, and we’re grateful for every opportunity.

Our crews have been making great progress on projects in Brunswick and Folkston. We’re especially excited to be getting started on the new school in Brunswick, everything is on track, and it’s been great to see the progress coming together.

The Folkston project is a beautiful custom home, and we’re proud to be a part of bringing it to life.

Prep isn’t just a step in the process. It’s the key to a beautiful, durable finish. Before applying any stain or sealer, proper cleaning and surface preparation are essential. Dirt, mildew, oxidation, and weathered wood fibers can prevent coatings from penetrating and performing the way they should.

This cedar siding is a perfect example. After a thorough cleaning and prep process, the natural beauty of the wood was revealed. Bringing back the rich grain patterns, warm tones, and character that had been hidden beneath only months of buildup.

By taking the time to properly prepare the surface, we created the ideal foundation for a natural-tone sealer to soak in evenly, enhance the wood’s appearance, and provide long-lasting protection.
