Ever walk into a room and notice a smell… but you can’t figure out where it’s coming from?

Sometimes the source is hiding in the carpet where you’d never see it with the naked eye.

On this job we used a UV inspection light to locate pet urine that had soaked into the carpet fibers. Under UV light, the affected areas glow — making it possible to treat the exact spots properly.

Many homeowners are surprised by what shows up during this kind of inspection.

Pet owners will understand this one… 🐶

This carpet didn’t look very dirty at first glance, but once we started extracting it you can see exactly where pet dander, oils, and tracked-in dirt had built up over time.

Working in the area this week and had this couch cushion come out great during an upholstery cleaning job.

A lot of people don’t realize how much body oils, pet dander, and everyday dirt build up in upholstery over time until it’s professionally cleaned.

One pass with our hot water extraction system and you can already see the difference.

From Father to Son. From Cars to Carpets.

LaVoie Classic Cleaning didn’t start overnight.

About 30 years ago, Steven LaVoie started a small company called LaVoie Car Clean USA. What began as auto detailing grew into janitorial services and built a reputation for hard work and doing things the right way.

Years later, I (Chris) stepped in and began expanding into restoration and professional carpet cleaning. Eventually, we had the opportunity to purchase the very carpet cleaning company I originally started out at.

That’s when everything evolved.

LaVoie Car Clean USA transitioned into what you know today as LaVoie Classic Cleaning.

My dad and I officially built this together around 2012–2013. We worked side by side for over five years before he retired. But if you know him… retirement just means he “stops in to help” whenever he feels like it. 😉
