Walked into a house today and found two water heaters teaming up like a bad comedy duo.
One was power-vented with a broken vent pipe, just dumping exhaust into the space like it was intentional. The other was the wrong type entirely—an atmospheric unit where a power vent was needed—also happily venting indoors.
Basically, one was broken, the other was wrong… but both agreed on one thing: “outside air is overrated.
