Nothing compares to an August garden.

The fullness. The color. The way every layer of the landscape has had time to settle in and come into its own.

Late-summer gardens have a richness that can’t quite be replicated. Hydrangeas in full bloom, ornamental grasses beginning to move, mature trees providing shade, and perennial borders at their most abundant.
