We installed a system at a new convenience store for a long time friend, and customer recently. Dad introduced this gentleman to me at 11 years old. When S&A Backhoe & Septic Service, LLC was formed 24 years ago, he became a customer too. The 17th of this month marks 6 years dad's been gone. The events that I have faced without his wisdom, leaves me so thankful for the many mentors like this gentleman, his good name earned in my life.

Seeing this sign hit me differently today. I heard a message that stuck with me, and i'm sure we have all felt like this at sometime or another.
" I feel like a light pole, during the day when you pass a light pole how much attention do you give it. Not much as its not serving a purpose, but at night when its shinning, you're thankful for it. Thats what I am right now. I'm not shinning, I'm not serving a purpose, and I am not recognized! If you are a faithful person, pray that the ones needing it are recognized."
