Good morning everybody public service announcement. Please take care of your well heads. If you haven’t already, the temperatures the next few days will cause your water to freeze. If you don’t take some extra precaution, we have already had one call this morning one day in to the extreme temperatures, put some extra mulch around your well cover make sure your insulation underneath is clean and dry. When you go to bed at night please let your water run about the size of a number two pencil lead. This will allow the pump to kick on sometime during the night, therefore warming up the system , maybe if you have the ability set your dishwasher to where it comes on in the middle of the night and runs the cycle of dishes that way we move some water through the system close your air vents on your foundation , sometimes in extreme temperature no matter how much we insulate, things can still freeze, protect yourself and if you have any questions regarding this, you can always reach me at 828-776-6526

Well, good evening everyone just a friendly reminder check your wellheads add some extra mulch around that well cover that will help with insulation. exposed piping, and etc.make sure they’re extra insulated,close all your vents on your crawl space,when you go to bed at night let your water run about the size of a number two pencil lead, a lot of times in bad freezing weather, our crews get overwhelmed with service calls because of frozen pipes Take time to check everything this will save you a lot of heartache.
