GreenScape is now hiring a lawn care professional.
We get to work outdoors, enjoying beautiful neighborhoods and green spaces while helping to keep our client’s lawns looking amazing.
The successful applicant will have a great appreciation for the outdoor, and will be a good communicator. The right person is worth training, so experience is not required.
The lawn health specialist's primary work load is to manage the health of our client’s lawns in and around Joplin. You will learn how to diagnose lawn concerns, identify pests, and how to properly and safely work with lawn pesticides.
You will also be seeding lawns, and perfecting dirt work. You will learn how to operate multiple machines to proficiency including a Skid Steer.
80% of the job is good old fashioned hard work. Spraying lawns, and carrying 50 pound bags of fertilizer. It’s worth it.
You'll need to be ok with working through high and low temperatures, lifting 50lbs dozens of times per day, and occasionally lifting more than 50lb.
This work is part time, weather dependent, and seasonal. Work slows in the hottest part of August, and we take off from Thanksgiving to February 1 as well. Some times, full time is impossible due to weather.

Base $12.00 negotiable with prior experience
Must have a relatively clean driving record, be 21 years of age, and be able to pass a drug test.
