Ability to lift and move 50 plus pounds occasionally.
Duties involve:
Removing and planting shrubs and trees, seeds, bulbs, flowering plants, grass, sod, ground covers, trees, or shrubs.
Loading wheelbarrows and spreading mulch, topsoil, and stone.
Weeding and edging landscape beds.
Pruning or trimming trees from ground level, trim shrubs and hedges, using shears, pruners, hedge clippers, and cleaning up debris/shrub clippings.
Hauling branches and loading a trailer.
Assist with rigging/lowering of branches from ground level for tree removal (we will train how to rig branches).
Over-seeding lawns.
Raking, blowing, and hauling tarps with leaves.
Various other landscaping tasks as needed.
Experience Required
Prefer prior landscaping, lawn, or tree care experience.
Prefer experience with hedge trimmers, chainsaws leaf blowers, etc.
Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license with your own reliable transportation.
Must be able to speak English.
Hours
Hours vary depending on weather, but are around 30-40 hours per week with the possibility of occasional overtime. You will get many Saturdays and all Sundays off.
