Power washed the paver entries and patios of two homes this week in Webster. We also fixed the edging at the second home. After washing we swept in polymeric sand to refill the gaps in the pavers. Apply polymeric sand every five years will help to control weeds and moss between pavers. Both walkways and patios are now ready for a sealer to brighten up the color in the pavers.

We will call this job the “ Repurpose”. Good friends Steve and Penny found some wall block that someone no longer needed so we helped them redesign the front of their home. We incorporated a pop up drain that allows the downspout on the west side of the house to carry rain water under the wall and empty it in the front yard. Steve and Penny are going to take care of the planting of new shrubs and they may add a cap to the wall down the road. Thanks Steve and Penny for asking us to help!

Let’s call this the “Overnight Makeover”. The homeowner called Tuesday morning asking if we could pull out some overgrown shrubs and help her put in some new plant material. We finished a job early in her neighborhood on Tuesday, so we stopped by her place and pulled things out. On Wednesday morning, we purchased some plants Carol had chosen in addition to some we suggested and by late afternoon Wednesday, she had a new look! Thank you, Carol, for allowing us to help transform your beautiful home. And thank you, Christine, for helping with the design.

Plants and mulch were purchased at Welch's Greenhouses, with assistance from Bri and Alysa for helping us gather materials.

New home owners off of Phillips Road in Webster, NY asked us to clean up a property that had been neglected by the previous owner. We removed weeds and gravel to prep the beds. We also power washed the sidewalks and patios. We finished the job by regrading a section of the back yard and mulching the front, side and a raised bed adjacent to the back patio. Photos are organized as a progressive before ….to after.

Cleaned up weeds in beds as well as stone walkway and patio. Also trimmed some bushes and mulched a tree in the front yard.
