We've reached our 13th year anniversary here at Ridge Electric! ⚡
With sweat, determination and hard work we've accomplished another great year!!! Thank you to all the loyal contractors, customers and vendors that have helped along the way!!!

Our 12th year has come and gone. We usually have a very short lull between Fall/Winter projects to Spring thaw to celebrate our anniversary. Not any more!?!? 🤣 We're still extremely busy with several projects and emergencies that arise with the inclement weather we've been having.
Everybody has been telling me it's a good problem to have!?!? 🤷🏻‍♂️
We will be welcoming a new educated employee soon, to help with the work load.
I'd like to thank all of our customers for your patience and loyalty to Ridge Electric in the past couple years. We look forward to taking care of the community's electrical needs for another 12 years!

I've been hearing about a lot of businesses struggling lately. Whether it's from COVID or lack of employees.
According to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, about 20% of U.S. small businesses fail within the first year. By the end of their fifth year, roughly 50% have faltered. After 10 years, only around a third of businesses have survived.
I'm proud to say our 11th year has been extremely busy. We apologize for not being as attentive as we have typically been. We're trying to keep up with the unbelievable demand.

"Ya win some, ya lose some!"

Ridge Electric has been so busy I haven't given an update lately.
Win some:
Charlie Kaufman has joined us this spring and is working out greatly!
Lose some:
Barry is retiring in November after 9 years with Ridge!
We're very sad to see him go but we're happy he will be able to hunt, trap and fish as much as he wants.
He is honestly part of our family. My kids call him Uncle Barry and his wife Aunty Kathy. He makes work fun and after work even funner! We've done so much together, he is like another brother. We'll be happy to go to Park rapids MN to visit as much as possible. I'm also beginning the construction of our guest bedroom and bathroom for Barry and Kathy to always feel welcome to come visit!

It's never goodbye. Just see you later!

To protect your family and ours, Ridge Electric will only be taking emergency residential service calls.
New construction and trenching season is right around the corner. We'll be able to better serve our customers without entering occupied homes.
I hope this will not be an inconvenience for anybody. We appreciate each and every customer and will hopefully return to regular services soon.

Due to the recent Toilet paper crisis, Ridge Electric Inc. will no longer use "We're here to check your shorts" as our t-shirt slogan.

Furthermore...We will be cutting up the remaining shirts and selling the scraps as "Ridge wipers" for $29.95 per pound.
