It's that time of year again. Wet, muddy driveway season. If you need immediate repairs, we can help you. Then we can put a plan together to hopefully lessen or mitigate future erosion problems. We first focus on water drainage to get the water off the driveway and give it a safe place to go. We then use quality materials and tried-and-true techniques to make sure your driveway has the best chance to hold up this time next year. Even with the best gravel driveway once it gets saturated it can be compromised: if possible, limit large vehicle traffic like garbage trucks as soon as you notice the driveway is starting to create ruts to avoid damaging the top layer of gravel. We may recommend asphalt millings as a better alternative to gravel in some cases along with a vibrating roller compactor to lock everything together.

Hey Neighbors, wishing you a Happy New Year.

Part of that for many is hopefully helping you with LEAKS from ICE DAMS & PREVENTION.

1. Fix the cause: Poor Ventilation/insulation
2. Remove the snow asap, (shoveling/rake)
3. Professional Ice Dam removal that doesn't cause damage or opportunity for future leaks.

After each snowfall, the majority of our calls are for ice dam removal and roof shoveling. These can cause real headaches with leaks if not handled right away.

Ice dam removal can be quite expensive, and since it is a symptom it can be reoccurring. Many other guys won't let you know that there are some things we can try first because they want to keep you calling back. Our goal isn't to drain your funds on ice dams, even though we're happy to help. If your roof has heavy snow or ice buildup, we can safely remove the snow by shovel. We recommend removing snow off your roof after a storm asap. This will minimize the amount of snowmelt and, ultimately, the size of the ice dams that will form. Then the ice with low pressure steam that is gentle on shingles.

Ideally, and the more permanent solution would be to have us out to come up with a plan to hopefully add proper insulation or ventilation to prevent them for good, keeping your space warmer and more energy efficient.

We are out and about basically everyday and happy to swing by for a free look and give my advice as a Licensed General Contractor. No pressure, just want to help with what has been a huge problem so far this winter.

This year is special to us as it will be our 25th year in business. Thank you to the thousands of customers who put their trust in me over the years.
