Can you imagine losing a new tape down the cinder blocks?! That is one way to ruin the day. Thankfully I had my magnetic tip Milwaukee Tool tape to save the day. Got off easy this time.

This was definitely a wild discovery. We had to remove these old culverts that were draining right into the front yard of the house we were doing a footing on. Not sure who installed these, but I can't say much water was moving through there.

I hope I pronounced it right, but this tool from is great! When you are in tricky situations like this, on top of floor joist, the last thing you want to do is risk your safety by pushing and pulling on boards with your body in dangerous positions.
