🚧 Trades Night @ Mead! 🚧

ABC has partnered with the Mead School District to offer this hands-on career fair for the entire community to attend. Children, teens, young adults, and adults of all ages are invited to come and experience the construction industry.

When? November 10 from 5-8 PM.
Where? Mead High School

We will have over 30 businesses promoting their trade and their job opportunities. All are welcome!

Elders, please contact if you could use a Covid Care Package. Canned food and PPE boxes with masks, gloves, hand soap and sanitizer and disinfectant spray.

Our thoughts are with everyone as Covid is hitting our region hard. Stay safe this holiday season and contact TAS Mechanical And Green Plumbing for all of your service needs after January 1, 2021.

Covid cases are spiking in our Region, with help from the Spokane Regional Health District, the Tenants Union of Washington, Better Health Together, SHAWL Society, TAS Mechanical & Green Plumbing, the Unitarian Universalist Church, the Indigenous Environmental Network and the 7th Generation Fund our volunteers will get out 400 food and PPE boxes to elders in the region, and to victims of the recent fires on the Colville Reservation.

If you are able to help deliver to elders in need, let me know. All volunteers will be provided with N95 masks and hand sanitizer for use during deliveries and gas assistance. Paddles Up to the Spokane Tribal Elders Program and the Spokane Tribal Purchasing Department for stepping up to deliver 100 PPE boxes! Spokane Tribal Language House joining in to help too!

TAS Mechanical And Green Plumbing LLC is a new and emerging plumbing company owned by Spokane tribal member Twa-le Abrahamson-Swan and Colville tribal member Harley Swan. TAS specializes in new construction and remodels.

We serve Tribes in the Inland Northwest by providing “green” plumbing services and technologies with an emphasis on water conservation and long-term cost savings for the customer. The focus is on changing consumer and behavior using energy efficient and water-saving technologies. As tribal members, we are invested in our own communities and understand the need to preserve and protect our water resources for future generations. “Green Plumbers” are educated on the most efficient technology and conservation practices, are committed to superior service, customer satisfaction and commitment to the community and environment. TAS is dedicated to forging lasting customer and client relationships by meeting project schedules in a timely manner, with professional, quality workmanship.

Our Team & Experience
Harley Swan is a Building Trades Journeyman Plumber and a member of and TAS is a signatory contractor with the UA Local 44- Spokane Plumbers and Steamfitters Union. He has over 16 years of experience in the plumbing and pipefitting industry. He has been employed and trained by the leading companies in the region on a variety of commercial, industrial and residential projects. Recently, Harley was installing storm drain systems on Boeing’s $1B 777x wing factory in Bellingham, the Colville Tribal Government Center in Nespelem, and worked to install complex water systems at the Chief Joseph Fish Hatchery. Other projects range from IHS clinics, K-12 schools, and various regional University campus projects.

Twa-le Abrahamson-Swan will provide company and project oversight to make sure project schedules, milestones, and deadlines are met. Twa-le has experience writing and managing Federal Grants and Tribal programs. She is an Air Quality and Healthy Homes Specialist, and a certified radon tester and mitigator. She also has a background in media production and community outreach.
