There is a chill in the air and the turning leaves are setting the hillsides on fire! In preparation for the coming winter, we are cleaning up around the shop and prepping our snow removal equipment.

Andrews Well Drilling has an awesome fan in Lynsey Hastings, Joe's daughter! She is often stopping by to create signs for the shop or draw pictures promoting the business! In fact, we are starting an album to put all her pictures! Check it out! :-)

Today a lady mentioned to me that she sees our trucks going by her office so "I know you guys are busy!" That's true, we are---but not too busy to take a day and have continuing education! This month, Joe Hastings, Jon (one of our well drillers) and Jayson (a great well-drilling assistant) traveled to State College to participate in the annual continuing education offered by the Pennsylvania Ground Water Association. As members of the PGWA, we go every year and always learn something new. This year was no exception! The main feature was observation of mud rotary drilling, shown in this picture. It was fascinating, but we are thankful that we use an air rotary rig---it drills a lot faster! ;-)

Over 160 people came to our booth at Smythe Park this July Fourth! It was fun to see old friends and meet new ones!!!! Special thanks to Joe Hastings, Mackenzie Hastings, Lee and Kathy Wright, and Brian Andrews for all your help!!!

We had a great time greeting old friends and meeting new ones at during this year's Fouth of July event!

As you may have heard on our radio commericals, we will be celebrating the Fourth of July (which also happens to be the birthday of one of our staff members) at Smythe Park in Mansfield, PA. Stop by and visit us!
No matter what your plans are to celebrate the Fourth, don't forget to remember *why* this holiday of freedom still exists. THANK YOU, men and women of our armed forces, and thank you, military families for the many sacrifices you have made for our freedom!!!
