Dreaming about Spring. We look forward to the opening of Hume's Blooms. Hume's Blooms will be a Garden Center, Cafe, and serve Ice Cream. The photo will be where the cafe and ice cream will be housed. We love the progress that is taking place even during these winter days. Counting the days till Spring and looking forward to the opening of Hume's Blooms!

This past week’s project was a little sentimental. We updated the first patio we ever installed. It still looked great after 35 years, but it was time for something a little more modern. The same 2 guys on the job then and now (father and son), only this time around, son tells father “no cutting and no heavy lifting” and not the other way around when he was 11.

While every day feels like earth day for us, today was no exception! We planted a Serviceberry (Amelanchier Laevis) as a centerpiece for the upcoming planting!

Our latest project: a hickory tree succumbed to a wind storm 2 years ago and we’re now faced with removing the stump to make way for a replacement tree and planting!

Today we pruned fruit trees!🍎🍒🍐🍑🌳This young orchard has varieties of apples, cherries, pears, and nectarines! There's still time to prune, but the ideal timeframe will be ending soon!

Spring is truly the season of renewal 🌷🌺🥀🌸🌼. After a dreary winter, nothing lifts our spirits like seeing early spring flowers popping up around us. It’s time to hang up the heavy coats and break outdoors into the warmer weather!😃☀️🌳
