As I think back on this journey of entrepreneurship and starting my journey in drain cleaning and plumbing. I have to be honest I went into it scared, nervous and anxious because it was unknown and way outside of my comfort zone. I have been on cloud nine and I have been waist deep in sewer water, more muddy ditches than I can count wondering what I am doing this. Jobs where I didn’t get done until 3:30-4:00 am because of major line issues. I had to learn as I went. I thankfully had and still have other professionals I can ask questions if I really get into a pickle. I do this solely now as my income and I have built a nice clientele base and have even been involved in helping municipalities with major drainage issues and mapping of drain systems. I have had to deal with all kinds of problems and people yelling at me just out of shear frustration from sewers backing up. I would calmly explain what I am going to do and bring them down a bit. I have to say if I had to do over again I would still choose what I’m doing because at the end of the day I love the feeling of having helped someone who was in desperate situations. I’m a sewer rat for life because some weirdo has to do it. To all my followers and customers thank you and God bless.

This winter has been a rough one. I have responded to clogged drains that turned out to frozen underground as well as frozen water lines that were 3 plus feet underground. Had to assist in digging up and repairing 30ft of 6” main that was frozen at a large apartment complex. So there is a chance if you are experiencing backup it could be frozen. Hopefully we are past the deep freezing now. We are looking forward to spring.

Very busy couple of weeks. I appreciate customers patience during time as hopefully we are on the way to warming up soon and hopefully pipes will stay thawed out.

We have a very full schedule this week. We will try to squeeze in customers with frozen water lines around the other scheduled work. Be safe, stay warm and run your water on a small stream during the night if you are susceptible to it freezing. Have a great day and God bless.

If you live in someplace susceptible to freezing water lines such as mobile homes. Houses with leaky crawl spaces or high wind areas. Remember to run you water on a small stream help prevent frozen water lines. Stay warm and be safe everyone.
