Redbud Skidsteer Services, LLC Forestry mulching, brush hogging, dirt work

Cedar trees are relentless here in Oklahoma, and they only get worse the longer you leave them alone.

This is what “handled” looks like. We mulch it right where it stands, so there’s no burn piles, no hauling, and no mess left behind.

Call or DM us to get on the schedule. Quotes are free and we’ll shoot straight with you on what it’ll take.

This picture was taken two years ago— the day we bought our skidsteer and cannonballed into the very unknown-to-us world of small business ownership.

David looks excited. I look terrified. 😂

In the last two years we’ve cleared fence lines, tackled overgrown properties, moved some dirt, and most importantly, helped some pretty great people reclaim their land.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us with your property, shared our name, or cheered us on along the way!

Here’s to year three!

Because we love it.

This Oklahoma heat is hard on just about everything including equipment. To keep the skidsteer running in tip-top shape, we spend hours each month cleaning the machine. This includes everything from pressure washing the exterior, to “popping the hood” to clean all around the motor.

We wanted to have more interactions with the deer on our place so we mulched a trail for them.

What are you dreaming about doing with your land?

Here's another reason we don't like cedar trees...

They're water hogs.

According to OSU research, one acre of cedars uses about 55,000 gallons of water every year—that's the equivalent of five semi-truck tanker trailers of water.
When Oklahoma is fighting drought, every gallon matters.

Ready to get those cedars off your property? Let's talk.

Morning maintenance before another day in the woods. This morning David was up bright and early sharpening the teeth on our Diamond Mowers mulcher before heading to a job in Norman. Sharp teeth make a big difference. They cut more efficiently, put less strain on the machine, and leave a cleaner finished product.

Time to put those fresh teeth to work! 💪

Every property has that one spot that seems to get away from you.

We spent a little time in Choctaw this week helping this landowner reclaim the back corner of his property. After clearing out the cedars and heavy brush, the space is open again and easy to maintain going forward.

Check out the before and after!

There's just something about watching a cedar disappear.🥰 This is the kind of work we never get tired of doing.
