The purpose of a breaker is to protect the circuit, whether from a short or an overload.

In this video, Eric explains how a breaker works and what to look for if one may be tripped. Sometimes it is easy to spot, and other times the breaker may not look fully “off,” so it helps to know what you are checking.

A good first step is to look for the breaker that is sitting slightly out of line with the others. To reset it, switch it fully to the off position first, then back on.

If the breaker keeps tripping, do not keep forcing it back on. That can be a sign of a larger electrical issue, and it is a good time to call Wolff Electrical Services so the problem can be checked safely.

Carbon monoxide detectors are easy to forget about. They just sit there quietly until they matter.
Hardwired units with battery backup are more reliable than plug-in models and do not depend on a battery you might let run down.

Sweet Clover needs a home! Clover is a darling, a red tabby female who is super sweet and loves humans, especially children. She is a youngster, about 1 year old, out of the crazy kitten stage and a gentle, loving little girl. Clover is FIV positive, but that is only transmitted through deep bite wounds, not sharing litter boxes, food or mutual grooming. She is not a fighter! Most in rescue have an FIV+ cat in their household with their FIV- cats. This little girl was abandoned when her family was evicted, wandering around lost and confused until a kind person helped her.

Because of the stigma associated with FIV, cats like Clover have a very hard time finding homes. With a balanced, high-quality diet, love and regular yearly vet visits, FIV+ cats can live a normal lifespan.

Clover is just a nice girl. She really likes children, seemed unfazed by a recent canine visitor, and tolerates other cats, but would be fine as an only cat. If you would like to meet this sweetie, come visit and get to know her. She might be the one for you! ❤️🐈‍⬛

Great community service

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to give back to an incredible organization, Sparrow's Nest in O'Fallon. They reached out needing their fence cleaned, and our team was happy to help!
We were able to get it looking fresh again, and the difference is amazing! Check out the before and after photo. Thank you to Sparrow's Nest Children & Family Center for everything you do for our community. We appreciate the opportunity to help! 💙

Introducing Boots! This handsome guy came to us after he lost his ‘person’, and no one in the family could take him. Boy did they miss out on a great cat! Boots is 3 years old, gentle and good natured, with a mischievous side you would expect in a youngster. Boots is a good eater, a gentleman with his litter box, good with other cats and seems to like dogs. We have described Boots as the perfect cat, and he is! Because he is smart and interested in everything, he will do best in a home with at least one feline friend and lots of stimulation; cat trees to climb, windows for viewing the neighbors, possibly children to play with. This guy is the total package, out of the crazy kitten stage with a laid back personality and so gentle. If you are thinking about expanding your family this might be your chance.
