The Solar Canvasser is responsible for door-to-door appointment setting in a target area. This is a great opportunity for the right person to begin a career in solar. Our ideal candidate will be outgoing, charismatic, and have a positive attitude. You must be comfortable working in various weather conditions as this position generally performs work outdoors.
Responsibilities:
Learn and present to homeowners the benefits of solar energy with Erus Energy.
Book appointments for Sales Consultants.
Achieve weekly appointment goals.
Update the CRM with leads generated.
Attend sales training and team meetings.
Additional duties as assigned.
Schedule:
Off Sunday and Monday.
Tuesday-Friday daily correlation meeting 1:45pm, in the field knocking by 2:30pm, and last door knocked is 30 minutes past sunset. Subject to change when daylight savings ends.
Saturday morning correlation at 9:45 am, in the field knocking by 10:30am, and knock until the Monday calendar is filled. Tuesday appts are acceptable on a Saturday, only if Saturday and Monday are 100% booked.
ALL MEETINGS NEED TO BE IN OUR OFFICE, UNLESS PREVIOUSLY APPROVED.
We knock in the rain, we knock in the cold. We do not knock in life threatening weather (lightning, floods,etc.).
Qualifications:
At least 18 years old.
Spanish speaking a plus, but not required.
Must have a smartphone to receive and make calls and to use GPS.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must have the ability to follow instructions and learn quickly.
Excellent verbal and presentation skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Ability to walk for extended periods of time.
All candidates must pass a background check and drug test.
Ability to lift up to 20lbs, walk for extended periods of time, climb, bend, and stoop without assistance.
