TROPICS | Chance of development in the central Atlantic now up to 70%. A couple of strong tropical waves have a chance of development here over the next several days. Too early to worry about as both systems are days away from any land. We'll continue to watch them.

For those of you who have new sod, Pasco County does let you water every day for the first 30 days. From 30 days to 60 days then you are allowed to water three days a week. The initial 30 days is very important for new sod establishment. You should also let that sod grow for at least 30 days before the first cut like this picture here. Here is a snapshot from the Pasco County utilities website about water, conservation and establishment of new sod.
